My name is Joel Bates;
I am the JBJ in DJ JBJ Entertainment Group.

I began spinning records at the age of 16, playing CYO dances and small parties. After 20 plus years, tens of thousands of songs, and a steady evolution of audio equipment, my enthusiasm for entertaining has only grown. I feel blessed to be able to bring a little happiness into people's lives, especially on the momentous occasions from which we build our fondest memories. It motivates me to be the best that I can be.

From weddings to private parties, from weekly trivia games to Governor Romney's bill signing ceremony, no function is too big or too small. My goal is to provide your guests with a memorable affair; one that will be talked about long after the date has passed.

I use only top rated professional audio equipment. The quality of sound matters. As a member of the American Disc Jockey Association, I have access to the latest technology and trade "secrets." I arrive at each function with a full sound system and a back-up system, for the simple reason that no bride, groom or event organizer should have to spend time worrying about audio equipment. I have a compliment of lighting effects as well, per request.

My eclectic collection of music rivals that of any DJ you will contract with. I feel that, regardless of the event, the music sets the tone for the evening. We will meet, prior to your event. In our work together, I will attempt to program the evening, according to your taste and musical interests, to maximum effect. This allows me to gain the invaluable insight to personalize your event, incorporate your ideas and design a unique play list and sequence of events. With my assistance, your guests should dance away with the feeling that you, as host, "threw a fantastic party!"
